10 Months

Norah is 10 months old today!

She is now able to take as many as 4 steps at a time and has become a very confident "cruiser" as she makes her way around the furniture. She can crawl really fast and it's become pretty hard to keep her out of trouble.

Her mouth is now sporting 8 very sharp little teeth that she uses to eat her big girl food. She recently banned all baby food and will only eat big people food at this point. It has become quite a challenge to find things for her to eat as we are still somewhat restricted due to her lactose intolerance. However, we are expecting that to change in the near future - thank goodness!

At her 9 month appointment we learned that she weighed 20.5 lbs, and is 29 inches long. We were told to go ahead and start reducing the amount of medication she receives for her acid reflux so that we can start weening her off of it. So far we have been very impressed with the results and hope that she will soon be off of it entirely.

The most exciting development however is that she no longer screams when being laid down in her crib to sleep. It took a VERY long month and a half, but now we persevered and were successful. We can once again lay her down while she is still awake and walk out of the room, without bringing about tears.
