Recently when I mentioned repainting the back bedroom
(It was originally a dull gray with race car trim around the top of the walls, which we re-painted all white last year), Jeff and I had a conversation that pretty much went as follows: 
Didn't we already paint this room?

Yes.
I thought so, but we're doing it again?
Yes.
What's wrong with the old "new" paint?
It's white! Doesn't white match everything?
No, it would look too stark.
(Defeated sigh!) I know.
Sigh. I have so lost any semblance of scene control.
Daddy has since issued a new edict:
"I hope you absolutely love this color because I am NOT painting this room again."
(We have since picked out a nice light beige color that matches the safari themed baby items perfectly, and we both love it. )
