Day 7: Sea World - Mission Abort

I should have known something was wrong. I know my kids very well, but sometimes I miss the ginormous red warning flags waving above their heads. This morning we were all excited about our trip to Sea World. I had talked about it to the kids non stop, and while they really weren't sure what I was talking about, they seemed excited too.

Then we went to breakfast. Justin refused to eat ANYTHING, which is highly unusual, but I figured it was a result of him being so off schedule, very tired, and very excited. I should have known.

After our meal we loaded up in the car and headed to Sea World. It was a relatively short trip and in about 30 minutes we were turning on to Sea World Drive. That's when Justin started projectile vomiting. Now I knew.

We turned around and found a beach restroom to grab paper towels (of which they were out) and started trying to clean him up. It was a long process until a nice city worker noticed our dilemma and stocked us up on paper towels. We got Justin out of the car and cleaned both him and his seat up.

I considered the possibility that perhaps he was suffering a combination of allergies, in addition to being tired and car sick. He had no fever and no other symptoms to suggest anything else. I made the decision that we would continue on to Sea World, then he started throwing up again. We turned the car around and headed back to the hotel.

There are no pictures from this day for obvious reasons.

Epic Fail.
