Norah and Justin up at the front of the church that has seen the confirmation of all my aunts and my mom, the marriages of all four sisters, along with the baptisms of many of the grandchildren.

A beautiful morning, spent enjoying a wonderful sermon and spending time with my grandparents and Aunt Pat.

A familiar sight that brought back many memories for all of us.

Norah and Justin plotting against me whilst looking very sweet and adorable.

They were having way too much fun to simply sit and let us take a picture of them together.

Mommy, Norah and Justin sitting where my mom and aunts had their wedding pictures taken.

The kids were just worn out enough to sit still so that we could take the picture. We had a great time, and entertained everyone at the church, especially after services when the kids discovered the doughnuts. Somehow they talked the adults around them into multiple samples of different types of doughnuts, and when I told them they had had enough, Justin started to circle the table on his own, attempting to look casual before managing to snag one! Of course at that point Norah needed to have one, and Mommy too since I knew I would need the sugar rush to keep up with them!

After church we headed back to the hotel, got changed then went to Aunt Denise and Uncle Mark's house for a big dinner.

Justin and Norah talked Katie (or as Justin calls her....Sugar), Jenni, and Syndi all into going into the water with them.

Sydni getting ready to go help entertain the babies!

Everyone enjoying each others company and good food.

Great-grandma getting ready to go enjoy her dinner.

Ashley, Uncle Herb, Russell, Great-grandpa, Phillip, Sarah and Brett.

Justin talking his great-grandma into feeding him off her plate because apparently the one I had fixed for him was inadequate. Norah was just thrilled to have all the attention of three older girls. She was in Heaven!

Justin eating yet more food off of great-grandma's plate. He has no shame.

Sydni very patiently trying to coax Norah into the water.

Jake and Jason.

Uncle Mark, Aunt Pat, Grandma, Ashley, Aunt Denise, Sarah and Brett.

Ashley, Aunt Paula, and Aunt Denise.

A rare shot of Justin eating off his own plate.

Norah getting to spend more time with her Sydni.

Justin helping himself to Sydni's plate since he had finished with great-grandma's.

Aunt Pat, Dallas, Sydni, Katie, Norah and Justin.

Justin inspecting Dallas' plate for food.

Because of our family's many members, it's easier to celebrate birthdays by months rather than by days. So all the September birthdays, along with the late August ones were celebrated today. It took a while to put the candles on.

Great-grandma and Uncle Russell chatting while more candles are being placed on the cake.

All the candles being lit! It was a race to get all the candles lit before they melted into the cakes.

Aunt Denise trying to explain how we were going to sing the names into the song. She tried to tell us that we would go by the first letter in each person's name, in order of birth date.

Still lighting candles.

Dallas, Russell and Phillip.

Everyone enjoying cake and each others company.

Justin, Norah and Sydni exploring the backyard.

Dallas observes as Jenni is the kids' unofficial maypole! It's a good thing there were no ribbons involved or she'd have been wrapped up too tight to move. The kids had a blast running in circles around her.

Justin showing off his new green blanky that Aunt Paula made for him.

Norah and Sydni whispering together. Norah wrapped the baby elephant that Aunt Paula had bought for her at the zoo in the blanket that she made for her.

Jake assisting Justin.

Norah all set with her elephant swaddled in her new blanket, her water, and her Sydni.
