Day 4: A Day of "Rest"

I decided to keep the kids at the hotel while mom and Aunt Pat went to pick up the uncles at the airport. We spent time coloring, reading stories, and then we headed out to the pool once it warmed up a bit. The kids were really funny and had a lot of fun pretending that I was a shark coming to get them.

Norah and Justin have great imaginations and pretty soon we were "catching baby frogs" and then letting them swim away. The only problem with this is that they had a tendency to snatch the imaginary frogs from each other, causing the other to cry foul and become furious. When I asked the cause of the tears, I was informed that their sibling boosted their baby frog. I recommended imagining another one instead, but that was deemed a ridiculous idea. Both Jeff and I think it's hilarious that they BOTH do it!

After lunch we all took a much needed nap, then woke up just in time to head to dinner with Uncles Phillip and Russell, Grandma, Aunt Pat, and Ashley. We ate a great dinner then headed back to hotel.

On our way out of the restaurant, Aunt Pat was carrying Justin. She noticed the Raiders playing on television, and said "Ooh, bad Raiders!" to which Justin promptly mimicked!

Justin and Norah have been saying it ever since, much to the delight of everyone! I was not able to get them to say it during the trip, but did manage to capture it later on.
