While visiting the "shop" we got to see several members of my mom's extended family. They are extremely family oriented and accustomed to having little ones running around the offices, so they did not mind the mid-morning interruption.

Justin spies Uncle Reid and Great-Grandpa sitting next to a giant crane.

Justin asks questions about the crane.

Norah joins the ladies to view wedding pictures.

The three men gaze out to the yard where more big equipment awaits.

Norah chatters excitedly about the crane and Justin shows them the one of his shirt.

Justin and Norah "helped clean"the crane, which they declared "dirty". They were determined that it would be spotless by the time we left, and weren't afraid to declare their work unfinished as we told them it was time to go. If only they were that adamant about cleaning at home our place would be spotless!

Cousin Chad asked who wanted to go up on the bulldozer. Norah promptly declined, content to play with the rocks on the ground. Justin was hesitant but willing.

Chad spotted Justin as he scaled up the rather steep and tall ladder to get to the top.

Justin prepares to board and drive the bulldozer.

Justin didn't even wait for instructions, he just climbed right in and made himself at home. You could say, "it's in the blood."

Our little bulldozer operator! When he got down, I asked him "Did you drive the bulldozer?!" He said, "I scared." I asked him if he had a good time and he responded, "Yeaaaah." in an awed almost reverent tone.
We left the shop and picked up my Aunt Paula and my cousin Sydni from their house. Then proceeded to a restaurant to celebrate my grandma's birthday, and run some errands for my aunt.

At lunch with Sydni, Great-Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Paula and Grandma.

Justin sharing his piece of cake with Norah.

Norah and Justin playing with the chalk and chalkboard at the shopping center play area.

Norah running through the water and having a blast.

Our little water baby right at home.

Norah and Justin were the loudest and most energetic kids there. They were had so much fun racing back and forth through the water.

They waited as the water jets rose higher and higher. When they reached their peak, they raced from one end to the other giggling the entire time.

Justin tried to karate chop the water as it started back down. He was convinced his blows were making it shorter. Norah stomped on it, and was also certain she was making it get smaller. They leaned in as close as possible to the spout as the water disappeared, then waited for it to burst forth, which drew delighted shrieks and giggles once more.
They had such a fun day and were totally exhausted by the time we got back to the hotel. They were out like a light and slept soundly all night long.
