It was a beautiful day today, so we headed out to Torrey Pines National Park to wander around for a bit.

The kids enjoyed the day as they explored their surroundings with their usual curiosity.

Every now and then they would hold still for a picture, but only for a moment before they were off, exploring every twig, rock and plant they came across.

We spent a lot of the time hiking the sandy trails.

Trying to explain what happened to the trees that crossed our paths, and trying to prevent monkeys from climbing on them.

We managed to convince the kids to hold still long enough for a quick group photo.

The view was breathtaking.

The air smelled like the ocean, the path was quiet, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore made for the perfect soundtrack.

Grandma and Norah checking out the trail ahead of us.

Poor Uncle Russell was once again behind the camera instead of in front of it with us, but we appreciate him helping to document the day with pictures. We left shortly after to go back to the hotel so we could start getting ready for the wedding.

Fortunately my brothers and Mom were willing to help me get the kids ready. We decided not to put on Norah's dress until we arrived at the venue so as to prevent her dress from wrinkling.

However we needed to get Justin ready to go completely before leaving which was no easy task. He really would prefer to run naked so talking (and maneuvering) him into a tuxedo took some time.

Mission accomplished! We all thought he looked very handsome.

Since a certain two individuals refused to take a nap (even after our attempts to wear them out at a park), someone was out before we had even left the hotel parking lot.

Norah was highly entertained by the fact that Justin had crashed, and was pointing it out to us and giggling.

We also thought it pretty funny that he had to pull up his pant legs before he fell asleep.

Norah hanging out with Uncle Phillip, looking beautiful in her flower girl dress.

Justin still not quite awake.

Justin checking out the pillow he was supposed to carry down the aisle.

Norah showing me her basket of flowers.

Norah excited about the idea of getting to throw rose petals down the aisle.

My two sweethearts getting ready to walk down the aisle, with me bribing them with all manner of treats if they will do it without me.

Well the bribing didn't work, and I had to hold both their hands to get them down the aisle. Fortunately both Jenni and Garrett were entertained by this!

Norah being silly.

Norah being VERY silly! She was so excited to be around all the big girls and see all the pretty dresses, especially the bride's! She declared Jenni a princess.

Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa.

Mommy with her two very sweet babies.

Justin having the time of his life throwing petals into the air.

Uncle Phillip supervising bubble blowing time.

Sugar (aka Katie) dancing with all the kids. Actually it was more her standing as they ran around her in circles.

It didn't take Justin long to remove his jacket, shoes, socks, cumber bond, and un-tuck his shirt. He's very casual.

The kids had so much fun running in circles around the dance floor chasing each other. When one fell down, they all did, then helped each other back up to start over again.

Justin trying to grab Garrett's shoe. Still not sure why......
It was a wonderful celebration, extremely well done and we are thrilled to get to finally welcome Jenni officially into the family!
