At 23 months, Justin doesn't always show a strong interest in any toys in particular (unless Norah is holding something that's his), but he loves to do anything "with" somebody. Whenever it becomes obvious that somebody is going outside or getting ready to start a job or run an errand, it's inevitable that he will say "I go wit-yo". That's not a question, it's a declaration, and it's not negotiable. Heaven help you if you pass through the door and shut it without your little shadow.

He doesn't care where you're going, or what you're doing, he's going with you and he's going to help. No job is too big or too little. He always asks "whatyo dunna?" (What are you doing?), then "I help." On the weekend, he follows Daddy into the office to make coffee. He's proud of his job as coffee bean carrier. As I open the bag, he always says "I wanna she" through his plug . He gives it a quick look, then smells it. He watches excitedly as I pour the beans into the grinder, then he grins as he inspects them for quality assurance before and after the grind.

Throughout the process he probably asks "whatyo dunna?" about 10 times. I think this is probably because it makes no sense to him why anyone would go to so much trouble, then throw all the coffee away and drink the dirty, hot water. Confusion aside, he's still happy to carry the coffee beans back to the shelf where they belong, and complete another task.
