6 Months!!

At his 6 month check up Justin weighed in at 18lbs 15oz and measures 27 inches in length which places him in the 75% for both height and weight. The doctors were highly impressed with his growth and are pleased to see that it is nice and steady.

Justin is grabbing everything in sight, including the doctor's pen that she thought was out of reach. My favorite however is when he grabs my neck and pulls me in close for a hug. It's a sweet and wonderful thing. He has also started playing the game of switching from one person to the next. I will be holding him, when he will lunge himself forward to get to Jeff. Then just as Jeff gets him settled in his arms, he's decides to come back to me!

Justin is sitting on his own with a little assistance but regularly loses his balance. He is expressing himself through vocal sounds (irritated, frustrated and excited).

He sits and plays the piano in the bumbo. Which we all find very entertaining. He also rolls all around the room, maneuvering himself to his desired location. His favorite thing remains the same, bath time. He is no longer hesitant about being in the water, and is so focused on chewing the toys that he will place his face in the water to get to them, and not even notice it. When he looks up his eye lashes are wet! It's hard to take him out of the bath, but when the water finally cools off, and it's time to get out, he begins to fuss. Seeing more and more of his personality come out is so incredibly exciting.
