Justin had a rough day today. I was watching the kids as they sat at the counter and ate their cereal. After a moment, Justin set his spoon down on the counter top and looked at it for just a moment. Then he extended his right arm, holding his hand above the spoon, straining as he focused all his attention in an effort to summon the spoon to his grasp. After several failed attempts, he broke out in frustrated tears, saying "Why can't I do it!?"
In an attempt to be helpful, Norah suggested, "Maybe only Jedi's can do that?" He didn't like that answer.
While developing levitation skills could be helpful and serve a practical purpose, we are glad that their current attempts to produce the sinister "Force lightning", like the Sith Lord and Emperor Darth Sidious, are equally unsuccessful. They already outmatch us on energy level, and it's hard enough to discipline kids without contending with force lightning.
