Park design is part of my job description and getting kids outside is my passion. Our company participated in the "It's my Park day" event, that involved numerous volunteer groups doing routine maintenance on the city parks. It was a great excuse to get outside and do something useful. Norah and Justin were fascinated by the little playground and spent the entire time spinning in circles while Heather kept a close eye on them. Although they didn't do any cleaning, they saw people making an effort to volunteer and make a difference. Hopefully we can set a good example that being a good steward is part of normal life.
