Kindergarten

Today we walked to the neighborhood elementary school with paperwork in hand, and registered Norah for Kindergarten.  Both kids were fascinated by the whole process, especially the part where we were buzzed inside.  They were comparing it to Luke entering Jabba's lair and I can only hope that our discussion was not being overheard by the receptionist. Justin was incredibly impressed with her computer and asked if that was how they "boomed bad guys".  I tried explaining that school administration and faculty don't "boom bad guys" but my explanation was obviously way too boring to be correct.

Norah was very curious about this new place and was asking about what she would learn and who her teacher would be.  Because of testing going on, we weren't able to take a tour right away, but look forward to getting to go closer to school starting.  We did get to glance in at the library on our way out, and that brought lots of excited comments and questions from both kids.
We are officially excited and freaked out all at once.  Where did the time go?
