The kids and Missy have been going stir crazy this winter and are desperate to get outside. Today's weather was chilly, requiring coats and hats, but otherwise not too bad. The kids threw a ball for Missy, but she's getting older and only tired a little faster than in previous years. Nobody was ready to go home yet, so we wandered down to the creek where Missy got a drink and the kids unleashed a bombardment of rocks and sticks into the water. Remarkably, they only hit each other a couple times and they never fought. They were reluctant to leave after about an hour at the creek, which is yet further evidence that it doesn't take too much to entertain kids.
