Jeff's parents stopped by on their way through town and we decided to take a family outing. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed to the arboretum with Grandma and Grandpa. The arboretum had it's annual Fall pumpkin village all set up, giving us several opportunities for great photos. If only the kids had cooperated. They were too busy enjoying running outside in the grass, through the trees, and around the pumpkins to sit still for any length of time. It was still fun to spend time together outdoors. Nobody fell into the koi ponds and both kids were asleep before we got home, which means that the day was a success, even without the perfect photo.
