Here we go

Well, it would appear that the time has finally come. The morning following Father's day seems to have brought the sign that our son is coming.

I woke up around 4:30 with some pretty strong contractions, which were fairly erratic, but close together. I couldn't go back to sleep and they persisted for an hour, at which point Jeff heard me move and woke up too.

When I had Norah, the first sign anything was happening was definite, my water broke!

With our little boy I've had to try to remember the indicators for when it is finally really time to go the hospital, the whole time wondering "Should we already be leaving?"

At any rate, we have called my mom to watch Norah and we are off for the hospital. I hope this is the real deal and not a false alarm!
