After college we got together very frequently with my high school friends, Andrew, Matt and Brandon. We met at least once per month, but usually more often. As we've all gotten married, had children, advanced our careers and taken on more responsibilities, our time with friends has dwindled dramatically. Somebody is always sick, in school, or at a function, or working, or has family in town. We've looked up and found that we have not gathered together more than a couple times per year.

This weekend we all assembled at Andrew and Katrina's house to once again enjoy each other's company. Of course the gathering was very child intensive, but we're parents and that comes with the territory. It was amazing to see the children ranging through several ages all playing together and see how their unique personalities interact.

It was a great way to spend the afternoon and we all enjoyed it. Norah told us that she would like to play with them again, and that this time she wouldn't be shy!! How can we say "no"?
