Surprise Tea Party

Norah has been hosting tea parties since she was one. She is a splendid hostess, always ensuring you have all that you need (and sometimes more).

I was making lunch for the two of them, with Justin's help, while she was playing on the floor in the living room. Once their meals were ready I called her to the counter, at which point she stopped and came to eat. As I walked by where she was playing I did a double take as I realized what she'd been doing.

She'd been having a tea party with her dolls (or babies as she calls them). The one fell off the "chair"(the overturned white bowl) when she got up to eat, but I was still impressed by her set up. There is a spoon in the cup and food on the plate for her Heart Bear, and I know she was getting ready to set up another plate of food and drink for the other invitee when I interrupted her.

I've noticed her playing on her own with her toys more and more lately. At one point I noticed her in her room playing with her doll house. She only noticed me when I started taking pictures, at which point she asked why I was taking pictures, then informed me that "the prince [was] sleeping".
