This summer promises to be extremely long and hot.
Something that does not bode well for for two very active toddlers who like to be outside doing something constantly.
So today I decided to head off some of the kids' boredom by inflating the small wading pool that we received when Norah was a baby.
It took a while as I could only find a hand pump, but it was well worth the effort.
They watered the plants.
They plotted against me.
They dumped water everywhere.
They pretended they were dolphins....
And so could not possibly wear their hats...
But Mommy won that battle......sort of.....! Every now and then I'd find someone had "lost" theirs.The kids played for an hour and a half, after which we came inside, had lunch, and then they took their naps.
