Last weekend we took our box of donations to the Centre. Once that was accomplished, we decided to spend some time together outside. We stopped at a park and let the kids run loose for a while. They truly enjoyed their freedom and were delighted by the many 1 1/2 scale, bronze, steer sculptures. They loved the ability to touch the sculptures, bang on them and even hug them.
The irony of the situation was not lost on us as we chased both our kids around and through a portion of the sculpture arrangement that featured a cowboy on horseback trying to cut a stray steer back into the herd. We got our exercise trying to corral our sweet little bullheaded kids who successfully evaded us until Norah decided to throw her water bottle into the yuckiest part of the pond, and it was time to go home.
Rounding up our strays to head home!
