Happy 2nd Birthday!

Today our beautiful baby girl turns 2!! How in the world is this possible? Two years ago we welcomed her into the world and our lives have never been the same. We have been changed for the better, and as she continues to grow and explore the world around her, she challenges us to become more creative and patient.

It is very obvious to all that she is now 2 as phrases like "That's mine" and "What's that?" (pronounced "wu-zat!) are more common. For as troublesome as she can be at times trying to express her independence and satisfy her curiosity, she is just as sweet. She is quick to give hugs and kisses, and still loves to cuddle.

She is a very good big sister to Justin, though if he is playing with something she wants there is no hesitation on her part about simply snatching it away. Though she is just as quick to find something for him to play with if he's empty handed (whether or not that's a result of her actions or not).

Her visit to the doctor revealed that she is now:
29 pounds which is in the 50% for weight
36.5 inches tall which is in the 96% for height

Our pediatrician was very impressed with Norah's vocabulary and her ability to put full sentences together. I was asked if she uses three words in a sentence and I told her she typically uses 4-5. She knows some of her colors and numbers (though it's usually just 2,3,4,7), and recognizes many animals (and can make their sounds).
