Water Fun......and Shoes!

In attempt to get some chores done, I had gone to the back bedroom to put away some laundry, leaving the babies in the living room to play. Zoboomafoo was on in the background and there were plenty of toys scattered across the floor to hold their attention. I wasn't too worried since I was only going to be back there for a couple of minutes and I would only be a short distance away. I finished putting away the laundry and since it was quiet decided to pick up a couple of things and sort some mail.

I was impressed with how much I was getting done until I realized just how quiet it was. I quickly went back to the living room to discover my two babies playing in a puddle of water. Jeff had left his water glass down at her level the night before, and I hadn't noticed it that morning. Norah did however, and took full advantage of my inattention.

From observing them before announcing my return, I watched as she would take a sip and then try to help Justin drink from it as well. Water would inevitably slosh over the side creating the puddle that they would then play in. They were both laughing as they did this, enjoying themselves immensely. I quickly got the camera out, took a few shots, and then cleaned up the mess. I am in so much trouble!!!

Later that day I took them on a walk, and Norah in her efforts to hurry us out the door, put on her own shoe!! It was on the right foot and everything! I was very impressed and took a (blurred) picture of it before she ran off to the get other one. We were out the door in record time.
