At 8 months old, Justin is growing all the time. His body control while sitting on his own has improved greatly and I am now able to let him sit without having to worry that he will fall over. He has learned how to transition from a seated position to laying on his tummy (although it's not always a graceful move, it works).

He can move all over the room by scooting, rolling and pushing up onto his knees, then pushing forward. On February 7th he pushed up onto his hands and knees and started rocking back and forth. While he is not crawling yet, we know it wont be long now. The only real downside to his mobility is that he often gets stuck in corners and under tables or toys!

He loves to be read to and has gotten really good at practicing his fine motor skills!

He has no new teeth but from all the gnawing he has been doing, I wouldn't be surprised to see some new ones in the near future.

Justin is now drinking water out of a sippy cup although I think he spends more time just chewing on it than he does drinking from it. He loves to hold it and play with it (I think he enjoys the sound of the water sloshing).

From the way he watches Norah run around it's obvious that he wants to join in the fun. The look of longing on his face is extremely easy to read. I am in so much trouble once the two of them are running around the house together!!
He has also started making very distinctive A, B, and G sounds.

He is still extremely ticklish under his left arm (he always laugh when we change his clothes), and loves to be tickled on his tummy.

Bath time is still a favorite, and when we are getting him undressed in the bathroom and he can hear the water running he will start to fuss until he is in the water.
