Happy Valentine's Day!

This year for Valentine's Day Jeff and I used one of our gifts cards from Christmas to go out to dinner as a family. This was a big treat for all of us since it isn't something we get to do very often. We went the day before since I was working on Valentine's Day and we wanted to avoid crowds.

As usual, we inhaled our food in an attempt to eat our fill before Norah grew bored and announced it was time to leave. The seat belt on the highchair was hanging at such and angle that Jeff didn't see it, so Norah was not strapped in, needless to say we had a pretty entertaining and fast paced dinner. She really prefers to eat while standing, so she would wait until the fork was halfway to Jeff's mouth, then stand straight up in the chair and happily bounce.

Although generally rambunctious, Norah refused to look at the waiter when he spoke to her, but Justin was very friendly and watched with great interest as everything was brought to the table.
Despite the meal being neither casual or quiet, the change of scenery and the lack of preparation and cleanup made it a very enjoyable evening.
