Helping Mommy Out Part 2

Norah has become quite the little helper with Justin lately. I can't figure out if she thinks I'm not doing a good enough job, or if she merely likes being the one to help him. We had the car the afternoon of the 18th, so decided to walk around a shopping center outside for a couple of hours. Norah loves the animal statues, so we spent a great deal of time feeding the horse, riding the elephant, and petting the lions. It's free, it's outside, and she can't hurt anything, so it's perfect! Justin sat on his side of the stroller enjoying his toys and the beautiful weather.

We had stopped in a store to exchange some clothing for the babies, so to keep Norah occupied I had brought a sandwich along which I had given her. She sat there eating it very nicely for me while I looked around. All was going well until I looked down to see how they were doing. It was then that I noticed all the crumbs on Justin's chest, and the bread in his mouth!!!

Apparently she had decided that he was hungry and shared some of her bread. He had a strange expression on his face as he gummed the bread, then swallowed before I could get to it. Oh well.

Then today it happened again. For breakfast Norah had some oatmeal and a bowl of grapes. I turned around to see her sitting down in front of Justin, and offering him her bowl, saying "Apple?", "Apple?". I told her she was very sweet, but those were grapes, and he was too little to eat them. She was highly unimpressed with my response, gathered her grapes, and ran off.
