This year we enjoyed a nice, quiet Thanksgiving at home. Mom, Dad, and Sara drove up here to celebrate with us, and Phillip, Russell, and Patrick came over too. There were lots of laughs, lots of football, and lots of good food. Grandpa even read multiple books aloud as Norah actually sat on his lap for prolonged periods. He now knows more Disney stories than he ever imagined possible. We also celebrated my birthday while everyone was together, although the enjoyment was marred by undesirable football scores....but we don't want to talk about that right now, or ever again.
All in all it was an enjoyable, low stress holiday, which was just what we needed.
