A New Lifestyle

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Although we live in a society that's obsessed with a need for "more" and a sense of entitlement, we find that when we stop to count our blessings we are continually surprised by the length of the list. Just a brief sample-

We are thankful because:
  • We are both employed and are happy with our roles.
  • We have the shelter of our house.
  • We have a car that gets us from A to B.
  • We have a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) for the TV.
  • Norah and Justin are growing, learning and developing just as they should be.
  • We are all in good health.
  • We have friends that look out for us, pray for us, and stand by us.
  • We have families that love and support us.
  • We have a marriage that is strong in it's foundation, and sure in it's direction.
  • We have beautiful babies that light up our lives.
  • We have time to treasure and spend together as a family.
  • We have a church that challenges us to move outside of our comfort zone.
  • We have a faith that carries us through moments of sorrow and joy.
  • We have a God that loves us unconditionally.
In a sermon this weekend, our minister mentioned that Thanksgiving can either be viewed as a holiday, or a lifestyle. We would prefer the latter, and hope you do too. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
