Jeff's birthday was celebrated over the course of the weekend. Friday he got to open his presents (we thought he might get more use out of it than if he waited). With the help of his two babies, they tore through the presents in no time flat! Norah and Justin were
more than happy to assist in tearing out paper and throwing aside boxes. At one point Norah even took out the gift (still disguised by tissue) and was ready to toss it away. Luckily Jeff was paying attention and rescued the framed pictures of his two assistants. The only down side was that the arm band for his Ipod (so that he can run while listening to music) didn't get any use the next morning since his Ipod was still at the office.
Other than that, Saturday Jeff ran 20 miles in preparation for the full marathon December 13. He came home tired and worn out, but proud that he had made it that far! I had to work that afternoon through the evening, so he was on his own with the babies. Sunday we enjoyed a great Sunday school class, a beautiful sermon, and then spent some time together playing as a family. We even had dinner with his parents as they were driving through on their way back home from a weekend trip.
Happy Birthday! We love you!
