Easter 2008

Easter morning came bright and early at our household this year. Norah decided to get up at 7am and had absolutely no interest in going back to bed. So we got up, fed her breakfast, got her dressed in her adorable Easter dress that Mom and I found back during the summer, and then went to check out what the Easter Bunny had left her.

She was very excited about her new bunny and tried to eat the books. We took a couple of pictures, then hurried to church. All of us thought that the service was wonderful, especially Norah who tried to join in singing with the choir, and throughout the sermon. Norah will be going to the nursery from now on as she is just too vocal and mobile. Since she loves being around other kids we are certain this will be an enjoyable change.

That afternoon we had my brothers over for Easter lunch, then hung out for a while. Later that evening we let her play with some Easter eggs. As predicted, she tried to eat them, and was actually so tired that she spent most of the time laying on the floor rolling them around. By the time she had her bottle she was MORE than ready for bed!

Despite everyone being tired from a long day, we really enjoyed it.

Happy Easter!
