Baby Steps

Norah took her first official step today! She has been able to wander around rooms by holding onto things (furniture/gates/etc.) for several weeks now, and has gotten really good at balancing without holding onto anything.

Tonight, while we were eating dinner, Norah was wandering around the room exploring (i.e. trying to find something to get into) when she stood between the table and couch, balanced herself, and took a step. She promptly fell over, but she did take a step while not holding onto anything!!

We are both predicting that she will be walking sometime around the end of 10 months. I think it's about time to start that babyproofing project we've been putting off.
