Norah's 5th Birthday was a happy one, albeit quieter than usual. Since we went to Galveston to celebrate the kids' birthdays, we didn't throw a party this year. Norah was desperate to open her gifts right away, but I my requested that she wait until the evening when her daddy and uncles could be there to watch, she nodded and ran off to play with Justin. They played outside, they played inside. They played pirates and princesses and at one point were ghosts. We walked to the mall to get the petite fours for dessert, then they got to play on the mall playground. The day passed surprisingly fast and before we knew it, it was time to get the party started. Daddy and then the Uncles arrived to have dinner and view the present opening. Norah was very excited about her gifts (a mixture of dolls, books, and clothes) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tiny little birthday cakes.
It doesn't seem possible that she is 5 years old already. Happy 5th Birthday Sweet Girl! We love you!
