Return to Huntsville

Today was a relaxing day with no real agenda and certainly no long car rides.  We slept late, enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and hung out.  Since we had such an enjoyable time there before, we decided to make a return trip to Huntsville State Park.

The kids literally cried when we told them we were going to a state park.  They thought we were headed back to Big Thicket, or "The Bad Place".  It took great effort to assure them that that was NOT our destination.

Norah and Justin were very pleased with the outcome as they got ample time to romp over playgrounds as we talked about everything that was on our minds. This day was marked by casual walks, exuberant play and peaceful reflection under cool blue skies.
