Our vacation came to a close Sunday, and as we drove home we talked about our favorite moments of the last 9 days. The kids unanimously agreed that the day at the beach was the best day, with our time spent at NASA a close second. They immediately started asking, "When can we go back?" followed by "Are we home yet? Why is it taking so long to be home?". Jeff and I are in agreement that the whole trip was a success due to a combination of high and low technology, fast paced and leisurely activities, time spent with extended family and time spent on our own.
It truly was all we ever wanted. Well, not all. We could have handled another song mixed in, but these two munchkins are definitely all we ever wanted.
