Justin asks if I'm going to mow the lawn nearly every day as it's one of his favorite things to watch. He longs for the opportunity to mow with me, but safety dictates otherwise. Today I compromised and asked him to help me touch up the last few blades of grass with his mower. His eyes lit up with pride and he made a valiant effort.
With the task complete he asked to park his mower next to the green mower in the garage and donned a satisfied smile. You could imagine through his eyes the toy was transformed into internal combustion yard equipment.
