We were headed out the door to go get everyone's hair cut, when Justin noticed his sunglasses sitting on the dresser. He grabbed them and immediately started trying to blind himself putting them on. I offered to help and before I knew it he was running around the house with them on, thinking he was pretty cool.
Norah noticed this and decided that she needed to do the same, so we found her glasses, which she donned immediately. She was very pleased with herself and quickly ran to show Justin.
I was still trying to get us out the door, so I put their coats on, ignoring the fact that it was almost 4pm, the sun was getting ready to set, and the babies were wearing sunglasses. Once their coats were on I noticed that they were standing their staring at each other through their glasses, giggling.
I couldn't resist grabbing the camera and taking a couple of pictures of the two of them. They were all smiles, and actually held still for me! Then they wanted to put their hoods up and take more pictures with their glasses. They were still giggling and wearing their glasses when Daddy got home so that we could head out the door. Needless to say he was a little confused by the glasses, but has learned that sometimes it's better not to question, but to just go with the flow.
