My Little "Helpers"

Norah and Justin love to help me throughout the day. Their general routine is to empty out drawers, dismantle the humidifiers, reorganize toys, knock all the CD's and DVD's onto the floor, rearrange books, and terrorize the bathroom to name a few.

I can't go from one room to the next without them completely nullifying any and all attempts at organization. While I understand that they are bored and in need of something to keep them busy, I really wish they would refocus their colossal energy for the powers of good.

I still have yet to figure out how Justin is taking apart the humidifier. I know he's the culprit in this particular instance, but I have no evidence that would hold up under cross examination in Kiddie Court.

At times I become completely discouraged by my lack of progress, and then I remember that these times are fleeting. It wont be long before they are only interested in hanging out with their friends, and Jeff and I will no longer be deemed important or interesting. With that in mind, I sit down and play with them, leaving the messes for later. I can always pick it up when my babies are sleeping, but my times of playing with them will only last for so long.
