Bunnies!

On St. Patrick's Day I took both babies to the mall to have their pictures taken with live bunnies. I did this last year with Norah, and the wait had been so long that I swore I wouldn't go back. This year I looked at other options and decided that this was the best one for us in terms of scheduling. Mom and Alyssa joined us and we were the 4th people in line. You would have thought that we would have been done in less than an hour since we didn't have to wait too long. I also thought that Norah and Justin would be really excited about the bunnies, and getting to hold one.

I was only partially right on both counts.

Norah was only interested in the bunnies until she was given one. Then she decided that they were cousins to the one from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. She freaked out and wouldn't let them near her. Justin was carefree about it until he figured out that they weren't stuffed. Then he tried to grab the poor thing and throw it away from him*.

Unfortunately due to "technical difficulties" with the computer system, the process took 4 hours to complete. All of us were exhausted and ready to go home by the time we were through. Fortunately the photographer gave us some free prints since we were one of the first people there and the LAST to leave.

Over all we got some great pictures, but I'm glad that it's over for another year.

*No bunnies were harmed during the shooting of theses photo, but they may have been mentally traumatized by it.
