All Smiles!

Justin has officially started to interact with us, and in the most wonderful way, through smiles! Up until now he would watch us, but not really do more than that. Then all of a sudden he started smiling at us as we talked to him. This also coincides with us finally solving his tummy issues, making him a MUCH happier baby. He now spends more time awake, and much of that time is spent in a happy mood. He is easiest to make smile after he eats or when is sister comes to play with him.

Justin is much easier to make smile than Norah was at a comparable age. He smiles with very little coaxing. If we raise our voices slightly and smile while talking to him, he will begin imitating us by moving his mouth, as if to form words, then his whole face will light up with beaming smiles. If we are lucky he will even make excited sounds in response to us, which melts our hearts instantly.

Often our prompting smiles from Justin will attract Norah's attention and she will come over the lend a hand. Once she arrives at his side, she generally will have his attention as long as she remains nearby, eliciting many smiles from her little brother. He seems to think that she is pretty funny.
