While on our trip this winter we stopped at an ice cream shop in Bakersfield, California. As we waited for our ice cream (that was oh so delicious) I found an adorable stuffed elephant for sale. I knew as soon as I picked it up that Norah would love it. Mom was very sweet and bought it for her, reasoning that she should get something for being such a good traveler and for not getting to eat ice cream with the rest of us.
As it turned out, I was right. Norah absolutely LOVES it and cuddles up with it every time she goes to sleep. In order to fall asleep, she runs her fingers across it, her nails playing with it's texture. When she's awake, she is constantly hugging and kissing it.

The other night Jeff went into her bedroom to check on her before we went to bed. He found her curled up in the corner, snuggled up with her elephant. It was too sweet of a moment not to capture in a photo or two.
