3 Sighs of Relief

Life has definitely improved over the last week. Norah's medicine has finally started to have an effect, and she is no longer in pain after every meal. We have come to the conclusion that while she is happy to be pain-free, she is incredibly put out by the shortened feeding sessions.

When she was nursing, she would leisurely but very enthusiastically eat for an hour at each meal. Now we are lucky to stretch out the 3 oz of formula and cereal to 15 minutes. In order to prolong her meals and prevent the majority of it from ending up on her cheeks instead of in them, we have to take the bottle out of her mouth every few seconds.

She would love to eat continuously for an hour like before, and we would love to not have to buy formula or wash bottles, but none of us want to go back to the screaming sessions. We are all coming to terms with her new eating routine, however, we are extremely grateful that things have improved!
