Justin has been climbing out of his crib every morning and following most naps for several weeks now. We felt our luck would eventually run out if we let this continue, potentially causing him injury, and the crib side was doing nothing to keep him in bed, so we decided to convert his crib to a bed today.
We were fortunate to capture video of his first reaction, which appears to be very favorable. At nap time he now runs down the hall and plunges into his bed like diving into the end zone in a football game. Much to our surprise, he tends to stay in his bed and not make encore performances.
