Upgrade

Justin has outgrown his car seat that we brought him home from the hospital in. Technically his weight and length are still within the safety range of use for it, but he's just too heavy to carry in it anymore. I loved the convenience of being able to move him from the car to the stroller without taking him out of his car seat. However, my arms and back just couldn't do it any more.

We have installed his new car seat which he seems to dislike less than his first. He has a better view of the world and of Norah. She thinks it's hilarious that now she can see him better, and spends a lot of her time trying to get his attention. He watches out the window at the passing buildings and trees, and will watch Norah very intently.

For a visual comparison, the picture on the left was taken when we left the hospital back in June. The picture on the right is from late October and as you can see he has really filled it out. I didn't have a more recent photo of him in it and quite honestly, it wasn't too long after this photo was taken that it became apparent we wouldn't be able to use that car seat much longer.
