11 Months

Norah has reached the impressive milestone of 11 months today!

She is walking, babbling non-stop, and keeping us generally entertained. We haven't as of yet added any new teeth so the grand total remains at 8. Her hair has gotten very curly, and has come in nice and thick! She is now eating pretty much anything that we put in front of her, but absolutely refuses to have anything to do with what she perceives as "baby food". If the texture is too similar, she will turn and duck her head and wave her arms frantically in front of her face. It can sometimes make meal time a challenge, but overall she's pretty easy going - in that she makes it VERY clear what she will and will not eat!

Norah is now completely off of the acid reflux medicine and is showing no signs of having any reason to go back on it.

She has started a new wake up routine that has both of us smiling. For the last few weeks upon waking up she has refused to let us pick her up out of her crib unless she is holding a blanket. She will trip all over herself trying to get to us as quickly as possible, but not without making sure she has a firm grip on the closest blanket available. She has also taken to carry it around the house for the first 20 minutes or so after getting up. We're not sure where this came from but it's very cute to watch.

Norah has also become fascinated with pillows lately. For whatever reason she has decided that they all belong to her, and that where they are currently located is highly unacceptable. I will go through the house watching her move throw pillows from one place to the next. The funny part about this is that some of them are almost as big as she is!

Jeff and I are in shock that she is only one month away from being a year old. The changes in her are astounding and so exciting to witness.
