A few nights ago as I was laying in bed reading the baby kicked me with great enthusiasm! At the same time I noticed something move out of the corner of my eye. I set my book aside and just watched my belly. To my surprise and delight the next time she kicked me I saw my belly jerk in response! I knew that eventually I would be able to see her kicking me, I just wasn't expecting it at the time. It was incredibly entertaining to watch and despite being exhausted I think I could have stayed up all night watching her kick me! Jeff was in the shower when all this took place and of course she had quieted down by the time he came into the room. He was so tired I think he could have fallen asleep standing up, but when I told him what had been going on he stayed up to see if she would do it again. For once our little girl cooperated and kicked a couple more times for him!
Pregnancy is really starting to seem real.
