Arrivals Gate

Today we headed to the airport to pick up Aunt Lyssa and Grandma.  The kids were very excited to strike out on this adventure and wanted to know which of the many planes we saw landing at D/FW was Grandma's. We aren't sure if by that they mean, Grandma's personally owned plane, or just the one bringing her to town.  My inability to answer this obviously important question was met with irritation and frustration.  Ah, the teenage years.  I'm getting a glimpse already.

Despite the delays that two very active kiddos cause, we managed to arrive at the Arrivals Gate before Grandma and Aunt Lyss.  We snapped a few quick pictures then went to wait for them.  Since we are usually late and international flights are unpredictable, we were able to surprise them with big hugs and kisses as they exited the baggage claim.

Now that they have arrived, according to the kids, the Summer adventures* can begin.

*This translates to riding in Grandma's big rental car, staying the night at "her" hotel, and going to the malls with the palm trees (Galleria).
