Rocked the Vote!

2008's Presidential Election is going to be one of the most historic elections in recent memory. With this in mind, and knowing that babies (at least ours) do not do well waiting for long periods of time in lines, I decided to go and vote early. I took both babies to our church (an early voting location) and voted. I think our double stroller intimidated the volunteers as they got us in and out in less than 15 minutes, and that's including unloading/loading, voting, and taking pictures. Everyone was very impressed by how well behaved Norah and Justin were, and Norah was highly impressed with the sugar cookie and sticker that they gave her. Justin slept through the entire process, even the picture taking!

Living in a country where the right to vote is extended to all citizens is a wonderful right that is often taken for granted. It's our hope that Justin and Norah will grow up with the understanding that in order for their voices to be heard they need to excise this right, and will do so.
