Before the trick-or-treating started.
Norah was very excited (she liked the pumpkin), Justin wasn't too sure what to think!

Norah was one of the younger kids trick-or-treating, and caused quite a stir in her Cinderella costume. We all got a kick out of the fact that she was Cinderella and her friend was an adorable Pumpkin! We had a theme going.

Norah didn't quite understand the concept of the evening, she was more interested in following the older kids as they ran up to the house than she was in getting candy for her bucket. Jeff and I took turns walking her up to the door to get candy. Usually by the time we had managed to get her up there, all the older kids had already turned around to leave and she was trying to follow them. By the time she figured out how things were working, the evening was almost over.

Now our major issue is that when we go on walks she tries to go up to the front doors of all the neighboring houses! She had a blast on Halloween, and really enjoyed carrying her pumpkin on her arm while holding bags of pretzels in one hand and a giant popcorn ball in the other!

Justin started off the evening very content to let us carry him around in his giraffe costume! He looked so incredibly sweet, and all he was really interested in was gnawing on my hand. Unfortunately halfway through the evening the zipper to his costume pinched the skin at his neck. It didn't draw blood but was very painful, as he screamed the whole way home. He was fine once we got him out of his costume and back into his spider clothes.

Once we were done trick-or-treating we headed back to our friend's house to hang out for a bit before heading home. Justin was content to sleep in my arms while Norah ran around the house, snacking on Teddy Grams and looking at all of their decorations. The band of sparkle in her hair is a piece to a friend's costume that fell off that Norah found and put in her hair all by herself! The princess had a crown after all! Of course if I had bought one for her she never would have kept it on so I guess it worked out perfectly.

The evening ended with a bath for both babies, some pictures in their Halloween jammies, and then it was off to bed. Once they were asleep Jeff and I took it upon ourselves to go through Norah's pumpkin to take care of any goodies that she's still not old enough to eat yet.

Happy Halloween Norah and Justin!
We love you,
Mommy and Daddy
