Bumpers

Ask anyone and they will tell you that bumpers should NOT be used as they can be a danger to the baby. My problem is that Norah can't sleep without them.

When we put Norah to bed she immediately pushes herself up to where her face is in the corner of the crib, with the top and side of her face pressing into the bumpers. If she is sleeping in a different location, she has to have blankets surrounding her head in order to fall asleep. We've tried moving the blankets away, but it wakes her up and she starts to cry.

So we have decided that it's in everyones best interest to just watch her closely, but allow her to sleep they way she wants to. As it is, we can lay her down while she is still awake, and all she needs is a blanket or bumper around her head and she's out like a light!

She's also sleeping through the night which has been wonderful too!
