Family!!

Over the last two summers we were able to join our family out in California for weddings and have been spoiled by the time we have gotten to spend with them. This summer there was no such event and we were disappointed that we would not get to see anyone. Then my parents surprised my grandparents with a trip out here for a two week visit. Then my aunts and several cousins added to the surprise by coming out for a long weekend at the same time.

We enjoyed the time we were able to spend together, visiting and reconnecting. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful family and were sad to see everyone leave. However we are fairly certain they were ready to return home as the weekend of their arrival was also the beginning of what would become a miserably hot summer complete with record breaking temperatures.
